Onboarding & Support

Vepple is extremely flexible and powerful in the right hands. We're mindful that every university is different and has it's own skills and resource; with this in mind, co-ordinating and implementing your new virtual experience may seem daunting. Our onboarding process is here to help you in the steps to launching your Vepple site.

Onboarding to launch

1. Onboarding call

Following sign up to the Vepple platform we will hold an 'Onboarding call' with your Vepple project team to introduce/ recap on the features and functionality Vepple offers. We'll also discuss potential site filters and pages for your Vepple platform

2. CMS workshops

Following the onboarding call and confirmation from you on your desired site filters, we release your Vepple environment to you so that you can begin to build and populate your experience.

We offer CMS workshops, to demonstrate how to apply your brand to the Vepple site, build pages and populate content and features.

For the silver package there are two CMS workshops. Given the extra features available to Gold and Platinum packages we offer three CMS workshops.

3. Population & support

Following the CMS workshops, until the point of launch we offer weekly/fortnightly/monthly (whichever suits you) project touch point calls. In these, we'll run through any queries you may have whilst building and populating your experience.

In addition to this, if any queries arise in between the project touch point calls our Vepple knowledgebase is available 24/7 and if this doesn't help we have a dedicated support desk (Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm) where you can submit a ticket with your query to one of the support team.

4. Launch

In the project touch point call prior to the launch of your Vepple site we will also point you in the direction of the 'Launch checklist', so that you can check this off before launching your experience. In addition, on the same call we will also give you access to your 'Performance Dashboard' and do a top level run through of what this reports.

Once your Vepple site has launched, the weekly/fortnightly/monthly project touch point calls will come to a conclusion, and your dedicated Account Manager at Revolution Viewing will reach out to book in a project debrief call in which they'll discuss when the quarterly performance analysis calls/reports will take place.

For the duration of your contract, you will continue to have access to the Vepple knowledge base and support desk for any queries whilst you continue to tweak and build upon your initial Vepple launch.


Experience Design Service

For clients that need support in creating the main section pages of the Vepple, we can design custom templates and graphics based on your supplied brand guidelines. Once approved, RV would create the designed templates in your CMS, ready for population by you.

Content migration

You supply RV with data that needs migrating into your experiencs. We take the supplied data (or pull it from archive if RV originally captured it) and bulk upload it into your CMS; thereby greatly reducing the amount of time required to populate content by you.

MVP launch

This combines both the Experience Design Service, Content migration and RV Project Management to give you the very best foundation to populate and launch a minimum viable product, quickly.

We love our virtual experience, it looks great and we think it's sector leading. We were blown away when we ran our first virtual open day event on the platform in June 2020 - we have over 6,000 unique visitors in that one day and the average session duration was over 11 minutes.
